Emily Flying High

"Hello my name is Emily Bleakley. I am a young adult carer from Newtown. I first came into contact with Credu in 2017 due to my caring role for my mum and my younger brother. Since then I have helped to raise awareness of unpaid carers alongside Credu. During this time I have witnessed first hand how amazing Credu is and the fantastic work that has been achieved by the organisation to support unpaid carers. I am excited to continue working with Credu as a trustee and I am looking forward to the year ahead and to hopefully meeting more of you soon."

and George Stroud who has worked for the third sector.

George, who gave brilliance finance training and advice to our trustees in his previous role at PAVO.

"I have worked in the charitable & voluntary sector for the past 12 years, having previously been a computer engineer. I have been employed by Citizens Advice Shropshire & PAVO as well as volunteering as Trustee & Treasurer for Arts Connection.

I am self-employed as monkeymedia.cymru (events/lighting/sound/design) & drum in a covers/function band. I’m an avid geek who likes to read, cook and play board games. I live with my partner in Llanfyllin, where I was also Town Councillor for 8 years.

I think Credu is a fabulous organisation and I’m excited to think I might contribute helping it grow sustainably."

George Druming

Heres to you both and hope you have a great 2022.
